Savage Mountain Collective is a ski and mountain culture project founded by Brent Gardner.

Brent grew up at Swain in western New York, taught skiing in the late ’90s, lost two decades to a knee injury, and returned with his family and no intention of easing into it.

This is skiing without corporate polish: stories, characters, humor, gear, weather-model compulsion, and the stubborn devotion that binds people to winter.
